Ecodan R32 Ultra Quiet PUZ Monobloc Air Source Heat Pump

Recently, Mitsubishi has brought out the latest addition to their range of Air Source Heat Pumps, the Ecodan R32 Ultra Quiet PUZ. This Air Source Heat Pump is the result of years of research and development and features quieter operating levels than any other preceding model. The idea behind this model was to create an Air Source Heat Pump that can be installed in multiple locations on a property and comply with noise regulation levels. Government regulations dictate that the sound pressure level of an Air Source Heat Pump must not exceed 42 dB(A) at one meter from the neighbours nearest room.

In the past, this has resulted in difficult decisions on where to place your Air Source Heat Pump so as to be within the regulations. However, the Mitsubishi Ecodan RS2 operates at such low noise levels that it opens up far more options in terms of placement in comparison to its predecessors. Not only is this new model three times quieter than some previous models but it also features improved construction to its components meaning that it has an exceptionally low maintenance cost and a longer lifetime even though it is exposed to the elements. Its improved design enables the R32 to function in temperatures as low as -25°C while still providing the same levels of heat without having to rely on a gas system to supplement its thermal energy output. Improvements to the efficiency of this Air Source Heat Pump have resulted in the Ecodan R32 being awarded an energy efficiency rating (ErP) of A+++.
